Life as a Theatre Play
('20 - now)
This world feels like one big theatre, in which I play many different roles that are influenced by the others around me. On top of that I am constantly looking for attention (applause) - optimising my profile with likes on looks, intelligence and performance.
I ask myself who I really am and what of myself is determined by societal and social factors such as patriarchy and capitalism. In paintings, performance art and digital creations I reflect on this through building a scenery through adding elements such as curtains, stages and cameras and representations of the self.
